Dolphens Design and Sign is a locally owned Omaha-based sign company with national experience. Our mission is simple: we don’t just build signs, we help you grow your business. Katie Dolphens-Hatterman, Office Manager, grew up hanging out in the sign shop with her dad but chose a different career path out of High School. In 2015 things lined up for Katie to make the move to join the family business, and she hasn't looked back since.

Rick Dolphens, President and Founder, has over 40 years of experience. Rick is a published award winning sign maker who has taught classes to professionals in the sign industry all over the country.

Shaun Dolphens, Vice President and Director of Business Development, grew up in the business and brings over 18 years of experience, as well as fresh ideas to help grow your business.

We use a variety of techniques and materials to produce signs. Old world craftsmanship is backed by new world technology and ideas. Our signs vary from sophisticated illuminated signs to simple banners and vehicle lettering. We consult with our clients to find a customized creative solution to best match their style and needs, from ultra modern to old school classics.
