How much does a sign cost?

Signs can range from $20 to $20,000 plus. Everything depends on what you are wanting to spend. At Dolphens Signs, we like to work inside a customers budget. There are some many variables that go into a sign, we design sign the customer is happy both tangibly as well as financially.

What types of signs can you make?

We make pretty much every type of sign you can think of. We design and fabricate items you might not consider signage, but rather a promotional piece. We are an outside the box company that thrives on different and unique challenges. Please don't hesitate to ask about your own interesting projects.

What materials do you use to make your signs?

Aluminum, Wood, Steel, PVC, Acrylic, Beadboard foam, High Density Urethane foam, Glass, Marble, Rock, Corrugated plastic, Vinyl, Banners, etc.

What is HDU?

HUD stands for High-Density Urethane foam. Over the years HDU has taken the place of wood in most sign related products. It's versatility and durable both indoors and out makes it a great material from most projects. This material is guaranteed outdoors for 10 years, unprimed or painted! Once you add a finish to it, you have something that will last for decades.

How big of a sign can I put on my building?

The city allows you 20% of the total width x the height of your building frontage. If you are on a corner lot, you get the square footage from both sides of the building along the 2 cross streets. Example: A 40ft wide by 12ft tall building frontage would get 96 sq ft of signage.

How long does a sign last?

It all depends on the materials you use for your sign. They can last from 1 year to 20 plus years.

How long does it take to make a sign?

It can take anywhere from a day to a couple months to complete a sign.

Do you install signs?

Yes we install pretty much every sign we make, most customers prefer us to do it. We considered it an advantage to some of the other sign companies out there that never install signs for their customers.

Do you travel, or can you ship the sign?

Yes, we service a majority of the midwest surrounding Omaha. We have travelled 5 hours at times to install signs that we build in our shop in Omaha. Other times we send out a crew to stay on location for a few days to work on projects that require that. We can and have ship signs anywhere in the country. If you need assistance installing your sign and your outside our service area we belong to a network of other sign companies that we would be happy to set you up with.
